We saved you a seat!

On October 22, 2026, I visited Tualatin Modern Dental regarding a potentially serious issue. I had initially spoken with Esmeralda a few days prior, and the service I received was top of the heap. I received a very prompt appointment (for dental clinics, anyway). Upon arrival on the 22nd, Esmeralda was at the front desk, delivered a pleasant greeting, and took me through the registration process. I was quite pleased. My next contact was with Sarah, who was to assist the endodontist assigned. Sarah commenced with a quick, thorough review of the process prior to the exam. Vital signs were obtained, and Sarah executed other technical tasks before the prep was completed. Sarah then escorted me to the assigned operatory, seated me, and finished with other ancillary duties. She then departed to summon Dr. Mark Houston. Upon entry, Dr. Houston greeted and welcomed me. We discussed my presence in the clinic, and the history of my malady. He then proceeded with an exam, having already reviewed my records. His efforts were systematic, thorough, and he talked me through each step & why he performed them. His summary of all activities led him to declare there was no need for invasive care. My departure from the clinic, with Esmeralda, was as satisfying as the entry. I left the facility with no questions unanswered. I post this review to ensure any & all readers are informed of the experience I had with this team. Rather than rattle on endlessly, I’ll simply say: As individuals, and as a team, the clinic personnel performed with Pleasantness, Thoroughness and Professionally - to accent their collective abilities to put me at ease from beginning to end. I submit this review without reservation or hesitation. TRANSPARENCY: I am not connected with the Clinic - or its staff - in any way, other than as a first-time patient.

Melissa was fantastic and very welcoming. Made me feel really comfortable. Dr. Karma was fantastic as well explaining all the procedures and processes. My visit was exceptional all the way through from check in to checkout.

Everyone is kind and professional. I had a deep cleaning with Zara, she was very thorough and great about walking me through what she was doing and why she was doing it.
